If I could change the Internet, I would make it a more effective tool by weeding out all of the misinformation and retaining helpful facts. Wikipedia would be a useful, regulated tool of knowledge.
There would be prominent awareness programs for Internet addicts, that would help to keep people out in the 'real world' instead of sitting behind a screen all day. The programs would encourage people to have real social lives, and not just extensions of their cyber social lives.
Commenting on news sites and entertainment blogs would be censored. Hateful, pointless, ranting comments would be deleted, and users would be warned not to try a repeat performance.
Children would be safer to surf the Internet without parents having to fear that an unwanted questionnable site might suddenly pop up and expose their child to content well beyond their years and understanding.
And if I could change the Internet, I would currently delete it completely so I could be getting some much needed sleep instead of staying up trying to write a blog. The End.
